We can combine microneedling with Serums, OR with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)/ PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) to further enhance results.

What is MicroNeedling?
MicroNeedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses fine sterile small needles to make punctures to your skin and this may create collagen. By creating tiny punctures this may stimulate the dermis to create collagen in response to the tiny punctures. You may add PRP/PRF to your treatment to enhance your results.
The tip arrives packaged and sterile, and used once per client and then discarded.
Is the Candela Exceed MicroNeedling system effective?
The Candela Exceed device offers enhanced treatment versatility as the first dual-indicated, FDA - cleared medical MicroNeedling system for the treatment of both facial wrinkles and facial acne scar reduction. Not all Micro-Needling devices are the same, only health medical providers are able to purchase and operate this device.
Does MicroNeedling Hurt?
For the face we use numbing cream to minimize discomfort. Most patients are able to tolerate the treatment with ease. Since we can control the debth and the speed, based on your comfort OR discomfort we can adjust the debth and speed.
Is this similar to my Derma Roller?
Derma roller has small needle like projections on the roller that go into the skin on an angle and are able to be used multiple times, can cause bacterial infections if not cleaned properly and can cause skin tears since it is entering the skin on an angle and coming out of the skin on a different angle. Candela Exceed is very different, they penetrate and exit the skin in the same plane therefore there is no dragging and no skin tears. The depth is controlled and speed is controlled and the needles enter and exit the skin the same time everytime.
